Can someone please explain to me why I keep getting this error 999 when I try to log in my GEOCITIES account? In the daytime I can't log in but at nightime I can get in again. What is going on?

  1. I upgraded to a paid account--no data transfer problem.  Ran a virus check, also cleaned out cookies.  Sometimes I get in, sometimes not.  Never had this problem before.  Began My ISP says they have nothing to do with it.  Could it be a malware or spyware or whatever going around?  Similar patterns of "error 999"  messaging makes me wonder where the problem is.

Began 3rd or 4th April, and did get on morning of the 5th, about 10am GMT

  2. It sounds like you need to buy more data transfer.

  3. I, as well as many others are experiencing this same problem. Obviously it is a Fiber problem at Yahoo! too many of us are getting this same error message. We've all cleared our cookies, ran our spyware programs and filled out an complaint form at Yahoo! and recieved the same standard email letter telling us to contact our ISP but they must have something going on. They say to wait it out. Well I managed to get on for a few minutes last night but was locked out again today. They need to admit they have a problem and tell us about or better yet - just fix it!!!
