Error connecting my Ipod touch to the computer...?

Question

Once I connect my ipod touch onto my PC it takes a while for anything to appear and then it says Object not recognized (something like that) at the bottom right of the screen and then it says an error occured loading it. The ipod does not charge and Itunes does not recognize it. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Try turning your ipod on and off again whilst it is connected to your computer if that doesn't work try reinstalling your itunes to your computer and try a different USB port .

reload ipod program
