  1. Floppy Disk Controller Failure...   enter bios and disable search for floppy.


  2. Maybe it's failing because of the fact that it doesn't exist? Computers can be rather thick like that sometimes ... I've had mine try to send something to a non-existent drive and then go all 'Error! Error!' at me :P
