What can we do about this? We are closing escrow today and we just got the keys to the house. We noticed the sellers oldesst son graffitied all over his bedroom and closet and doors and stuff....but wasn't the house supposed to be in the same condition we saw it in? I am so mad, what can we do?

  1. have them put part of the purchasre price in escrow to fic the problem.  Other wise if its too bad  you may nit want to complete the sale.

  2. In most contracts it states that the home will remain in the same condition through closing. If not the sellers are in breech of the contract.

Have your agent call their agent to inform them of this issue. They should either pay someone to fix it or give you money to do so.

However if they refuse you would have to go to court which the expense probably would be more than just fixing it yourself.

    Good luck.

  3. Hold out and tell the realtor you aren't going to close the deal until those pigs fix their mess.

  4. Talk to the realtor.  Refuse to close.  Hold out til the owners offer to repair the damage.

  5. sue them for the damages -- I hope your realtor did the walk through with you when it was clean an dtake her there now and show them what was done

  6. Call the Realtor and talk to them.

Was it graffiti in the walk through?  Which should have been done before closing!  You should have refused to closed until the damage was payed for.
