Esoterics needed - sudden "hot spots" in your buddy?

(Ok, it's not about WiFi. )

Could an esoteric cast some ligtht on what's supposedly going on when you have a hot sometimes really hot "energy" feeling in your finger (mainly ring finger) or palm or your toe etc? They last for a few seconds, sometimes for half a minute and then it goes. What is that?

Have you noticed it in yourself too?

Yes, I have, only in a different finger. How about an esoteric answer from a homeopath long versed in the metaphysical?
