when to plant the tree call espalier cherry tree

The cooler months are best spring and autumn but if its in a pot best not leave it in, get it in the ground,  trees are always on sale in the spring, garden centres, aldi,B&Q,and the likes  get new stock in.      best of luck

a potted tree can be planted at any time... you just have to be sure you can properly care for it after planting thru the heat  of summer.... if you don't have it yet, better to wait till fall....
