The Catalan club announced the signing of Kalu Uche and Victor Sanchez on a Bosman move in the recently concluded January transfer window.
Espanyol reinforced their attacking ranks with the signing of Kalu Uche and Victor Sanchez as the winter transfer window came to an end.

The duo was signed on free transfers as their contracts with the Swiss side, Neuchatel, was rescinded. Neuchatel were thrown out of Swiss Super League after it was revealed that they falsified bank documents in their financial guarantees
during the 2011 season.

Sanchez’s ability to perform anywhere in defence and midfield is such that he was also on the books of European Champions, Barcelona.
"Victor Sanchez has signed for RCD Espanyol for the remainder of this season and three more after that," a statement on the club's website read.
"And, after passing a medical examination, he will be incorporated into training this afternoon [Tuesday]."
Sanchez came through the ranks of Barcelona and made eight appearances for the European Champions during his time in Catalonia. He moved to Swiss Super League in the summer of 2011 and now he is returning to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 after a gap of six months.

With Spanish top flight football continuing in full furore, Espanyol find themselves fifth in La Liga standings and with the quality to qualify for European competition.
