In the 70th minute of the match, Espanyol stepped up their momentum as the ball fell to Callejon at the edge of the Real Madrid penalty area but his first time volley was not a powerful one as Adan gathered the ball easily inside the Real Madrid
goal.
In the 72nd minute of the match, Cristiano Ronaldo powered Real Madrid onwards in a counter attack. The former Sporting Lisbon youth player went past two players before playing the ball towards Adebayor.
However, the former Arsenal talisman failed to connect with his team mates pass as the ball rolled out of play for an Espanyol goal kick.
In the 74th minute of the match, Real were caught sleeping at the back yet again. This time it was Callejon, who found himself, with space inside the Real Madrid penalty area.
