  1. I'm with Tbone, I'm OK with ESPN/ABC's coverage, there were no more commercials than normal. ESPN adding Dale Jarrett was a big plus. It made listening to the commentary good for a change.

  2. Well....Fox is my favorite, I don't deny that.

But I guess it's all good that I can even watch.

Losing the speed channel has humbled me.

  3. na....nas.....nascar!!!! god dammit man!!!!whatch some FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!

  4. Well, yes and no...think about what it has done for the sport in the long run, that network when it first started NASCAR races has done an excellent job...give ESPN a break...they have done a great job promoting themselves...its the racing that has to improve and the on-track products are really bad...if you saw in the Allstate 400 they threw the caution flag every ten laps...ESPN does the best it can to cover everything goes on in the races...the races themselves you can't predict what's gonna happen! But I do think Brad Daugherty must go and do something more within the company, not flap his jaws...he is a fan of NASCAR but if he loves it, he should be in it and focus on what he wants to do. In closing, ESPN has always done a fine job, it's the racing that needs to improve and NASCAR continues to show it hasn't found the right combination yet.

  5. It was bad, but I can't blame ESPN for that. No programming or announcer could have made that race exciting. Fox is definitely my favorite, but ESPN still beats TNT. DJ was a plus.

  6. I have no issues.  I think they're just fine.

  7. Jarret definitely added to their coverage in a positive way. The negative thing I saw with the coverage was that even though they could only run around 10 laps before throwing a caution, ESPN still managed to show commercials during each of the 10 lap runs. There was plenty of time for commercials during cautions.

  8. Why what is so bad about it? It's better than TNT. FOX will always reign supreme.

I don't like Jerry Punch or any of the pit road reporters but I do like Andy Petree and now that they got rusty wallace outta there and got DJ in it's even better.

  9. I agree with you. There were way too many commericials!

  10. In all honesty, I didn't mind the crew covering the race yesterday.  Anything without Wally "i'm so totally not relevant" Dallenbach is an improvement.  I thought the coverage was fair and even.  All in all, nice job.

  11. It was ok. Better than TNT but i do like FOX better

  12. I don't think Jesus as the announcer and Moses doing color could have saved that c**p of a race today. NASCAR needs to get off of their butts and either allow a hard/soft compound choice to the teams or open the chassis up to adjustments where they don't have so many of these races where they have to make apologies for Goodyear.

That was the worse race at maybe the worse track for stock cars--especially that jewel they run now.

  13. ESPN sucked today so badly. That stupid Blackout makin us miss 10 laps unbelievable FOX all year round coverage please!
