how do people already know who won?

Hey Tay the award show actually is taped earlier in the week and then run on ESPN tonight. So essentially athletes have gotten their espy's and word has gotten out about those awards. It's not live which is unfortunate because that kills the purpose of the award show. You watch it to find out who won, but why watch when you can already find out who won.
