okay well first of all im not asking u to answer the questions for me im juss asking what they mean cuz i dont understand them at all!

okay well the essay is on the book animal farm i have already read the book but its for my honors english class and i have to finish the essay before monday [[when school starts]]

well here are the questions and i have no idea what their talking about!!!

1.Why do some government leaders wish to limit individal freedom?

2.Why do some people see themselves as powerless, thereby giving power to leaders who wish to control them?

3.Can language be used as a tool to enslave others?

4.Why is it important for people to have hope and vision for the future?

5.Does good or evil prevail in human affairs?

I have no idea what its talking about so can someone please explain it to me?

Answer 1

1.  Means that government leaders want to limit the individual persons freedoms, like speech, press, etc

2.  People view themselves as having no power because of their govt, and therefore give the government more power because the people they control are so feeble minded

3.  Language as a language - make people feel alienated by speaking in a language they don't understand

    Language as words -  Mentally abuse them with words

4.  So they do not give up and let the current government totally bring them down

i find it odd that you have no idea what the questions are talking about yet you are in an english honors class...or im not sure what you dont understand bout these questions...they all seem pretty simple.  

1. why is that some governt leaders try to control peoples lives...

2.  why do some people allow other people to control them

3. what ways do people try to control others( ie language barriers/ fear/education)

4. exactly what it is

5. who usually gets his way: the poeple or the controler?

an honors english course requires you to think abstractly--you have to see how these questions apply to your book and dont think so literall.
