my prompt is: Describe your interest in American government. What aspects would you like to explore?

Does US foreign policy relate to american government? because i was going to write about US involvement with other countries but i'm not sure if that's going off topic.

help! ideas please!

Have you thought of examining the balance of powers among the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of our American government?  Seems to me the Executive branch has become unmanageable.  Just an idea.
