Essay!?!?! light pollution?

im writing an essay on lightpollution and i have no idea how to start it!!! it has to be 5 paragraphs. the first introducing the topic [light pollution]. the second, third, and fourth should make three good points. the fifth paragraph should conclude my essay. and it CAN'T be written in first person.i have no clue what that is.?

Let me give you a few thoughts.  I'm an amateur astronomer and and old fogie.  When I was young they did an experiment with one of the first astronauts.  While he was on the nightside of the earth, over Australia, they people of a major city all blinked their lights on  and off in unison.  It was street lights, everything.  The idea was to find out if he could see the city from space by the artificial light alone (he could).  Now, (if you take a look at the first link) you really can't get away from light.  From sou can clearly see the continents, major highways, even small towns.  Astronomy from the ground is almost impossible.  There is so much light that only the brightest stars can be seen.  Amateur astronomers are trying to get each State or group of States to set up a "Dark Skies" area where people can go to observe.  We have one here in Missouri where I live.  Even so, it isn't as good as the average night, even in the city, when I was a boy.

People are beginning to learn that too much light at night changes the behavior of many animals and disrupts their life cycle.  I think these links should help you.  Good Luck!  I know your essay will be a good one.
