the theme is "growing up."

to be more specific, it's for the novel SHABANU, but can you please give me general ideas about the theme of "growing up;" doesn't have to relate to the novel, i just need basic ideas that'll get my mind rolling cause I am STUCK!!

It also enriches the way other people learn because everyone reacts to each other, like a rock dropped in water to create ripples. You're the rock of your life, so start making ripples! ive never read the book, but when i think of "growing up" i think of:

-maturing

-responsibility

-becoming an adult

-moving on

also, maybe characters in your book started to outgrow some of the things they used to love as a child.
