Essendon vs Richmond?

I'm an Essendon supporter but last night i was embarresed. I went to the game and both the teams made constant mistakes and Essendon could just not get it out of their back line. Do you think this is the worst essendon team ever? And do you think Matthew knights can cut it as a coach?

I thought the game was a bit boring. Essendon have gone down so much. realistically they should be on the bottom of the ladder. and its not Matthew Knights fault that the Bombers arnt playing well. as Matthew Lloyd said its the players fault they arent playing well, they arent listening and doing what their coach wants them to do.

no mate no where near the worse essendon side. everyone was expecting a lot from knights in his first year and essendon this year but their a bunch of teenagers improving.

2010 dons will be a top 4 side easy under knights!

and im not saying that coz im an essendon supporter, have a look at their side, we have so many young people

I am also an Essendon supporter. I don't think coaching is the problem here; we had a great start to the season until copping a number of injuries in round 3!

Someone mentioned it a few days ago and I agree that there is definatly a problem with recruitment at the club. I don't know who is in charge but they are just not getting the right mix of players. You also need to keep in mind that we are missing some very key players such as Lucas and Davey who is a rocket through the midfield!

If Essendon can get a win or two then it might build their confidence and they might start performing to capacity again.

Scott Lucas was on Game Day yesterday and made the interesting point that Matty knights has given them a solid game plan, but ultimatly it's THE PLAYERS  who need to perform and follow it through!

dont despair things will improve youve got a young side and i thought at the beginn ing of the season that the sort of gameplan the bombers emploed was not sustainable throughout the year

I sit here and hang my head in shame.............Nope Matty Knights cant handle being a coach............We did so well in the NAB cup then once  the actual season started we went down hill...........and yes i know since we got beaten in the grand final in 2001 we havent been the same...............yes we were still going down with sheedy as coach............but we have got a really young team...........alot of them were from country teams in the draft pick and never actually played a proper AFL team........

i actually like essendon (although i dont support them), so i was hoping theyd go with a good coach....
