Essex Hertfordshire Kent Middelsix or Surrey, to move to from London NW?

I'm a 24 y/o female, would like to get out of London, I need to move to a nice peacful City..

All of these places have good and bad parts.

I grew up in middlesex which is lovely but now live in kent in a not so lovely part, but there are nice bits too.

Why are you limiting yourself to the home counties? there are many really nice places all across the country. Visit a place many times before you make your decision....especially at night when the pubs kick out, that will give you a real taste of the area.

Try Leigh-on-Sea in Essex. It's a great town with loads of pubs and wine bars for your age group and great shopping. It's more expensive than surrounding areas but has a bit of class.

guildford (surrey) is really nice - it's got lots of park areas, nice shops, 2 train stations, good entertainment facilities (bowling, cinema, a couple of theatres, good restaurants and some nightclubs) fruit and veg market once a week, good sports centre... and guildfest is held there each year, which is fun!
