More news comes from the English cricket fraternity, after in a recent affair, domestic county, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/RD-Shah-c2298 Bopara, to make use of the second opportunity laid on to him for the ongoing fourth and
final Test match against the Indian tourists at the Kennington Oval, London.
Grayson’s advice to Bopara came after the player was called on England’s Playing XI during the third Test match at Edgbaston, Birmingham, from the proceeding Test series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/IJL-Trott-c1576 was forced on to the bench following a shoulder
injury during the second Test fixture at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
However, at the same time, Grayson also came out sympathising Bopara, who has also spent a potent time with the Essex side, for his recent unfortunate dismissal at the Edgbaston game.
The Coach backed Bopara during his unfortunate run at the recent fixture where the batter was forced into making an early return to the pavilion at a minor 7 following a successful Leg before Wicket (LBW) appeal off http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Amit-c44003 Mishra’s delivery.
Grayson also stated that while other English batters went on earning adequate scores, he felt sorry for Bopara since the player waited a long time for making his mark on the pitch, especially in a ‘comeback’ match.
As for the batsman’s current inclusion on the fourth fixture, Grayson stated “It's good for him (Bopara) that he's got another opportunity this week. I'm sure he will be desperate to make an impact and show everyone what a good player he is. We've all got
confidence in Ravi, but it's a very tough side to break into at the moment. Opportunities are few and far between. He's now got his chance through injury.”
Bopara has always served as a potent member on the English squad. The batsman marked his Test debut in 2007 against the Sri Lankan hosts and since then has played for his side in 11 matched for the format. Out of the lot, Bopara holds a fair aggregate worth
509 runs including his best figures of 143.
