and Giampaolo Pazzini’ goals helped http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 to a hard fought win.
Lazio were clearly the dominant of the two sides, as they created the most number of chances. Inter only had two attempts on goal and they managed to make them count. Cambiasso believes that it was a difficult game for his side,
as they struggled to get the ball moving. He admitted that his team were lucky to secure a win, as they lacked momentum on the pitch.
While talking to the reporters, Esteban Cambiasso said,
"It was a difficult match. We weren't very fluid, you could see that we were struggling to move the ball about, but we were in it and that's reassuring. You should be worried when a team doesn't have the right attitude and that's
not something that happens to us, though there are days when it comes out more than others. We won with perhaps a slightly fortunate goal but we're determined and that's what matters to us."
Inter have registered eight wins in as many matches in all competitions, and the Argentine believes that his team has answered to the critics. The veteran insisted that a top team has to bear these critics because the fans always
want the team to win.
"You're bound to get criticism when you're a top team. There are those who love you and those who always look for something negative.” Added the Argentine international
The Nerazzurri have climb to the fourth spot in the league table, only six points adrift of league leaders, Juventus. The 2011 Coppa Italia winners will face relegation strugglers, Lecce, in their next game on Sunday, January 29,
2012.
