The former Real Madrid midfielder has echoed his club’s ambitions for 2012/13, vowing to fight for the Scudetto; and intends to carry on with the Nerazzurri.

Inter had a nightmare campaign last season, and Cambiasso, who has been through the glory years of the club, is disappointed, and termed last year as a “negative one”. He went on to state:
“We’ll start the new term with a lot of desire and with great expectations. No matter how we finished the last season, we are not lacking motivation… Inter can fight for the title and we must challenge for the Scudetto.”
Inter finished the last season on a relative high after undergoing one of their worst streak of results, which saw the Beneamata register only a solitary win in ten matches, with the win coming over Chievo.
When quizzed over his future at the club, the midfielder stated that he had no intentions of leaving the San Siro outfit, and commented:
