The former Real Madrid midfielder has remarked that the Nerazzurri need to be given time to adjust to the new system and he reiterated that they would come good.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 were expected to win their fourth match day encounter with AC Siena, however, they were looking out of sorts at their home turf and were not able to capitalise on the match. The Robur were extremely proficient in their defensive duties as they barely
gave a chance to the Nerazzurri outfit to go into the lead.
They managed to score on the break and the team won by a 2-0 score line at the San Siro, which would be considered vital points for the Robur who would not have thought they were going to muster up such a victory over the Nerazzurri outfit.
The Beneamata outfit have collected two victories and lost their other two matches in their opening four fixtures of the Serie A. They are currently sitting on six points from a possible 12 points, and there is an air of mixed feelings at the Giuseppe Meazza
outfit. The Nerazzurri midfielder was talking to the press and remarked that they were extremely disappointed with the losses they had conceded and remarked that they were always looking to win their matches.
He went on to state that it was a matter of not being able to capitalise on their attacking prowess and being pegged back on the counter by the opposition outfit and he remarked:
“We’re sorry to have lost at home, because we didn’t manage to satisfy our fans, but we’re sure the wins will come. Sometimes when you don’t manage to take advantage of the moment you always risk that a counter-attack will hand you a defeat. We believe in
what we’re doing and we’re not going to throw everything away because of one painful defeat that hurts both our fans and us.”
An interesting fact for the week would be that the Beneamata outfit have not been able to win at home ever since the new synthetic surface was laid out. However, the San Siro outfit are away this time around and they will be travelling to Verona to face
off Chievo in their next Lega match.
