The Capital club have a 7-point advantage over second-placed Barcelona but Granero feels Real Madrid cannot slip-up if they want to lift La Liga title.
Los Blancos travel to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez for their next league match and Granero has asked his teammates to be cautious in the Madrid derby.
The Real Madrid academy graduate believes that they cannot afford to relax in La Liga with Barcelona hot on their heels to retain the title.

Granero reflected that they will have to take every match as a final and they cannot afford to drop points anywhere, especially with majority of the season yet to be played.
Continuing on the topic, he remarked that claiming the Spanish crown will not be easy for them and they will have to work extremely hard to dethrone Barcelona.
"The cushion we have in La Liga will not be a reason for us to relax. We know we still have to play practically the entirety of the return leg and many of our games will be like finals.
“The one in Getafe will be the first and we cannot afford to drop points anywhere. You win the title by winning every game," Granero was quoted on the official website of Real Madrid.
Granero praised the less-accomplished Madrid side for their run in La Liga that has seen them pick up 14 points from the available 18 in their last 6 matches. Luis Garcia Plaza’s men are ninth in league standings, a meagre 4 points off
fourth-placed Levante.
"It is always difficult to play at the Coliseum because it is a complicated venue. Other teams are always especially motivated to face Real Madrid and Getafe also happen to play good football. They usually complicate things for us."
Real Madrid will go into the match looking to repeat their heroics of their prior league fixture which ended in the 4-2 trouncing of Los Azulones at the Santiago Bernabeu.
