i was strapping a motor to a f350 1/46th scale car and i was wondering how much power and seconds of thrust the motor had

  2. An a-3 burns very quickly.  Less than a second, if I remember correctly.  The delay is 4 seconds, though.  Watch out for the ejection charge.  

    You said "strapped".  These engines burn extremely hot and can accelerate very fast without the proper weight.  It's generally not a good idea to use them in cars unless you have an experienced person around.  That motor should fit into a proper sized engine mount, not just tied on to the car.  I've seen some of the goofy stuff kids do with these things, so stick with an adult or experienced rocketeer.

    If the thrust is too little, the car will hardly move.  I don't know how much it weighs.  If it's too much, it will start rolling and then careen all over the place.  Be careful.  If the engine comes loose, there's no telling where it will go.
