Estimate takes home the prize in Group 3 Queen's Vase for Her Majesty the Queen
The Queen was delighted at the Royal Ascot when her runner, Estimate, earned a royal victory in the Group 3 Queen's Vase on 22nd June, 2012, where she was guided to victory by veteran jockey, Ryan Moore, in a field of 10 runners.
The daughter of Monsun, out of mare Ebaziya, justified her status as race favourite at 3 to 1.
Undefeated in two consecutive starts, the filly is headed to land some major victories in the future - courtesy of her agility and some help from jockey Ryan Moore.

She finished 5 lengths ahead of the A.P O’Brien trained, Athens, in the Queen’s Vase.
This was a particularly pleasing victory for the Queen, since in Group 1 150th Anniversary of Prince of Wales's Stakes on 20th June, 2012, all bets were on her runner, Carlton House, but he finished second to, So You Think.
The winning trainer of, Estimate - Sir Michael Stoute, stated to the press that:
"It's a great thing (to have a Royal Ascot winner for the Queen). We'd hoped to do it with Carlton House, but we've done it here. I think the whole country would have appreciated a victory for Her Majesty.
"It was great to come here with chances for Her Majesty. There was more pressure with Carlton House. The Queen is delighted."
The trainer was pleased with the form of his runner, and reflected on her performance in Salisbury, when she competed in the Betfred "Double Delight" EBF Maiden Stakes and defeated the Andrew Balding trained, Mysterious Man, in May, 2012.
Previously the Queen owned, Free Agent, claimed the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot on 21st June, 2008, who was led to a 2 ¼ length victory over, Seaway.
This is the first time since the Queen owned runner scored at the Royal Ascot meet.
The Queen’s joy was apparent when her royal runner seized the moment, and claimed the victory.  For all of Estimate’s effort, Her Majesty happily received the prize from her husband, Prince Philip, the Duke Of Edinburgh.
