Estimated price for a flight to Australia from Canada?

The gas prices keep going up, so I was wondering how much it would cost to fly from the East of Canada to Australia!?! I want to go there so bad some day, but I don't know if I will ever be able to afford it! It's pretty much on the other side of the world...

Depends one from where in Canada and to where in Australia.  Vancouver to Sydney will be much less than Ottowa to Perth.  And one needs to know the dates of travel to get an accurate price....or even a reliable estimate.  Be sure your estimate includes all current taxes, fuel surcharges and fees too.
