Try looking into what's happened in 1 through four during the last eight years.

It will be enormous and I couldn't begin to estimate it.  I love how the person ahead of me implies that those things have happened under Bush.  Apparently she hasn't actually checked the statistics.  Yes, gas is high and we are in the low part of the typical ebb and flow to the housing market, the other sections are strong and overall, the economy is actually doing quite well. ;)
