  1. Hi Simon

    there are approx 60 bricks per square metre in a single course wall

    so;

    12 x .45 = 5.4 sq m

    5.4 x 60 = 324

    so 324 bricks will do 1 single course

    648 will do a normal 2brick width wall

    there is normaly 500 bricks on a pallet

    if you get stuck give me a shout

  2. Measure the total area of the fence (length x height) then divide by the face area of the brick/block. Add additional 10 pieces as spares and for future repairs (sometimes you can't get the original material after many years). This will give you the total quantity of bricks you need. Don't forget to add mortar mix and concrete for the footing to the total cost of the project. Also if your fence is tall, you might require to have rebars installed.

  3. go to the diy store and give them that dimension and they will be able to tell you straight away.

  4. You missed out one of the dimensions.
