  1. There are a lot of conflicting studies about estrogen and soy. There needs to be a lot more research done on this before anyone can really argue facts.

It appears to me that soy should be eaten in small amounts, almost like a condiment instead of replacing meat. Some arguements can be made that the isoflavones may increase cancer, age bones more rapidly, and create various unwanted reproductive side effects such as larger b*****s (even in men), unusual periods, and lower sperm counts.

Like I said, it seems like there needs to be a lot more research done on this. Check out some medical journals and articles online and you'll see all the conflicting sides. If you decide to eat some tofu/have some miso/cook up some tempeh etc. twice a week you should be fine. Look at the Asian culture who have consumed small amounts of tofu with their meals for centuries...You should still try to get your protein from veggies/grains and so forth. Everything in moderation- right?

  2. no, you won't.

  3. You will not grow busoms.  On the other hand, you might end up with the smooth hairless unwrinkled skin of a Japanese pubescent.

  4. Unless your testosterone was out of wack for some other reason it won't make a big difference.
