Estudiantes want Enzo Perez on loan
Argentine club Estudiantes have expressed a keen interest in acquiring Benfica’s Enzo Perez on loan for six months after the player refused to return to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984.
Sky Blue International, Enzo Perez, left Estudiantes in the summer of 2011 in search of greener pastures and signed for Portuguese giants Benfica.
While the Reds paid €5.5 million to acquire his services, the player failed to make an impact at Estadio da Luz and was scarcely used by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Aimar-c28938 in midfield.
The player was quite eager to prove his worth to his new employers according to his agent, who also said that he was recovering from an injury and afterwards would try to cement his place in the Eagles’ line-up.
"Enzo is very motivated to show his worth Benfica. He told me he is recovering very well from the problem he had. He has gone in to a new phase but has missed more time to play again,” http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luciano-c22574 Nicotra was quoted as saying.
However he wasn’t able to convince the manager of his abilities and had to spend the majority of his time on the sidelines. Frustrated by his lack of opportunities, the player has isolated himself in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 since 27th December and wants a move
back to his former club.
Benfica, however, have refused to cave into the player’s demands and are allegedly looking to press charges against the Albiceleste International.
Perez is currently training on his own to maintain his fitness but is offered a route out of the complicated situation by Estudiantes, who are willing to acquire his services on loan for at least six months.
The Rat Stabbers have chosen Miguel Pires to negotiate with their Portuguese counterparts and come to a solution as quickly as possible, because Perez is quite unwilling to return to the Stadium of Light.
Until all the concerned parties come to a conclusion, however, the player is likely to remain in his homeland and continue training all by himself. But given his determination, Benfica should allow him to play for Estudiantes although it is not certain whether
they will continue to press charges or not.
