Etec 2g mp3 player

Question

i have a new 2g etec mp3 player. it worked fine with vista before and then now i plug it in and its an unknown device. it says the drivers are not there. so i try to update them and it says they are fine. i cant get the computer to recognize it anymore and i cant load anything onto it. i tried to find the manufacturers website but i cant find a public one. im frustrated to no end.
