Ethanol program driven ag buisness investments?

I am trying to understand when these forces might peek. I know that the program does not produce any more energy then it consumes so it has to stop at some point. So I am just trying to figure out which speculative investments will be first to react.

The ethanol program won't stop until congress ends it...and the Democrats are all for it. If McCain gets elected, the chances are good it will come to a stop. If Obama gets elected, it will continue.
