Ethernet problems...?

Question

Im at college and i have a router in thewall for me and my other 3 roomates. Everyone can connect to the internet through their ethernet cables but when i try to hook up, it only says Limited Acess: local only.... but if i try to hook up another ethernet it does the same thing... help?

Well if your at a collage you are more than likely on  proxy server. Have you put the proxy settings in? Your collage should have some IT dept to help you with this you could always contact them.

It's with the settings on your computer. YOu need to change the firewall setting or something. BEcause if it works for there computer and not yours, it has to do with some firewall or internet settings on your computer.
