Ethical to sell without health warning?

is it ethical for cell phone manufacturers and companies sell mobile phones without the issue written health warnings?

  1. Unfortunately it is going to take years to come up with a third-party researching firm brave enough to publish definitive findings.

    Even when such studies are both admissible and convincing to a jury, it will take time for the cost of settlement to outweigh profit margins.

    If the warning labels never come, it will become a situation akin to the auto industry- where recalls of potentially hazardous faulty parts only occurs when the cost of the recall is cheaper than the lawsuits.

    A sad state of affairs, eh?


  2. What do you need them to warn you about I think most people who have cell phones are adult enough to know how to properly use them  

  3. i would have a health warning just so the company can protect themselves from future lawsuits.  kind of the "swim at your own risk"... plus people will use cellphones no matter what.

    please ... we do not need to be a sue happy society.
