Ethnic-County labeling in the US?

what do you think about changing our labeling standard in the US from (something)-American to American of (something) Descent.

IE.. Irish-american would be labels American of Irish Descent.

African-American would be American of African Descent.

Therby putting America First.

  1. It's nobody's business where My  ancestors came from. I believe it's also An insult to thier life-threatening Journey to include a name of a country that would rather see them Die and live a persecuted life than live free. Even If it was hundreds of years ago.

  3. NO and NO, there is no such thing as african american, mexican american, jewish american or anything else, you are either American or you are not.
