You are not looking in the right places there are plenty of cafes selling Sausage Egg and Chips.

You need a café not a restaurant , get out of town a little .There is always a Little Chef around

You didn''t mention where you are located.

In the states, many people may not know what chips are, thinking you mean potato chips (which they don't serve)  instead of fries.  You should be able to get it the way you like if you ask them to substitute fries for hash browns..

Well, Id say bad,   surely you should be able to buy and eat whatever you want and sausage egg and chips is hardly exotic.

Whereabouts are you,

I visited London a couple of weeks ago and found the same, all I wanted was a basic English meal. I didn't want foreign food.

Edit;  Hey,  Why have a go at Cam,  if she/he were at home I dont doubt they'd cook but its hard when your out, cook book or not. and aint that patronising eh, own up. no-one needs a recipe for that meal.   duh!! its getting like you cant ask a simple question without putting your head in a noose.

Ethnic restaurants are really nice and i know what you mean but sometimes wanting something simple like sausage , egg and chips , so there's always little cafe's or tea rooms for that , usually on the back streets rather than on the main streets no.

It`s easy to get sausage egg and chips and if you can`t cook them at home........
