Stereotyping can lead or become the basis of Ethnocentrism. According to www.sociology.org.uk ethnocentrism is “defined as an attitude whereby you judge other societies by the standards that apply in your society.” Such was the case during the Holocaust. The Germans perceived themselves to be superior and decided to kill or discriminate anyone who did not fit into the German stereotype.

does this make sense?? and it is true, right?? additions to the paragraph would be helpful

  1. Well, yes. The n**i ideal would be an example of ethnocentrism. A simple argument in favor of this would be: [if it was not ethnocentrism] than would the Hindus of India also consider the German Aryan ideal the supreme beings? The answer is no, because they had/have their own ideal based on their own ethnocentrism.
