  1. How to walk in high heels is an excellent book but I would highly recommend DeBretts guide to modern manners and etiquette. It handles all situations perfectly and courteously.

  2. You can't beat Miss Manners. Her books are easy to read, fun, funny, and have wonderful pictures.

  3. Any book on etiquette will benefit any person at any age.  Many guidelines are published online as well.  In fact, this should be required reading.

  4. How to Walk in High Heels: The Girl's Guide to Everything by Camilla Morton.

It's not just etiquette, although there are things such as 'How to Make Stylish Excuses', 'How to Be Groomed', 'How to Deal with Bad Hair Days', 'How to Deal with Unpleasant Situations', etc.

But it has some practical things too, such as the things every single girl should know-how to wire a plug, how to change a light bulb, how to turn off water at the mains, how to bleed a radiator.

A lot of it is rather tongue in cheek, but it's a handy resource too.

My mum bought it for me last year as kind of a joke, but it really is good-I've certainly mastered how to walk in heels anyway!!

  5. Manners and class do not depend on any age. You either ge the idea or you do not.
