Etiquette for burping ?

What if is low, almost silent & it's an emergency? What to do? Do you say excuse me and risk the chance if people didn't even hear you?

Also, have you ever been talking to someone & you think they have to burp but they start talking wierd?

In some cultures, burping is considered good manners ( after a meal for instance).

It's a natural function - I don't feel guilty about it.

Any time I need to burp, I throw my head back and go for distance, length, texture, volume, and odor.  I judge and rank them on these criteria.  I also consider points for creativity and originality.  I dont give a d**n what anyone thinks.  Real men dont burp anyway - thats for babies.  Real men BELCH!!!!!!!!!
