OK, I'm re-asking.

I'm throwing a Childs Bday party that I'm trying to purposely p**s off some Horrible relatives to not to come.

How can I word it in the invite, after a list of places(KID FRIENDLY)(NOT ADULT) you are welcome to join us at a restaurant.

You pay your own way.

I know I don't care about presents these relatives never bring anything but their d**n appetitie, rudeness anyways.

You pay your own way.

  1. simple - dont invite them

  2. I don't get it.  If you do not like them why would you creat drama to ge them made at you? How about this>  Send them a letter that really tells them how you feel.... gauranteed they will NOT come.

Honesty is the best policy..... or you could do the weird plan you have in place and move on

I am all for you telling them you have to down size the party.. and let them figure it out.  Don't invite them..

Or better yet.. suck it up as a family obligation or.. DON'T TOSS A PARTY.. LEAVE IT AT THAT.  YOU ARE THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR LETTING THEM GET ON YOUR NERVES DARLING.. NOT THEM.

  3. Agreed with above poster in that I'm confused as to why you'd want to create drama. Obviously I don't know the entire situation but you would probably be better off not inviting them and then coming up with an excuse as to why you were unable to invite them such as the venue was too small or something of that nature.

Sorry to hear about your crappy relatives. I've had some like that before as well. Unfortunately you may just have to suck it up. Think about it; if you deliberately try to p**s them off, you end up looking like the more rude family member. The old adage goes: You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family. Good luck with everything.
