  1. As an American, it is most appropriate to follow our Declaration of Independence and the American principle that God created all men (and women) equal.  Therefore, an American should not bow to any monarch.

  2. ALL Americans do not bow or curtsy. We just shake hands and use the proper honorifics.

edit: to the people who gave the thumbs down--how sad you are. I gave the correct answer.I know the rules of etiquette and it is quite apparent to me that you don't.

  3. This POTUS? Probably not. He should, but he's an oik.

She is a Monarch, he is a President. She outranks him.

  4. Yes he does, and the rest also.Edit.....I don't mean a bow from the waist, just the head.

  5. Americans shake hands when meeting the Queen. Both are head of states so they don't bow etc. Just shake hands

  6. Why should they? She has done nothing her whole life. At least Bush faked a election.

  7. We make so many mistakes as it is. Mickey Rooney kissed her hand. That woman from Baltimore gave her a hug. If we tried to bow it would look ridiculous. The press would have field day with everyone.
