Eton Forever likely to prevail in William Hill Lincoln (Heritage Handicap)
Eton Forever has been awarded with the best odds for victory in William Hill Lincoln (Heritage Handicap) at Doncaster in England on Saturday, March 31, 2012. The triumphant runner will be awarded with a cash prize of £62,250.
A total of 22 entries have been attracted towards the 1 mile race, which is scheduled to start at 3:15 GMT, and their names are as follows: Eton Forever, Fury, Cocozza, Mull Of Killough, Edinburgh Knight, Start Right, Man Of Action, Light From Mars,
Mia´s Boy, Brae Hill, Don´t Call Me, Smarty Socks, Stevie Thunder, Clockmaker, Field Of Dream, Pintura, Amitola, Askaud, Barren Brook, Shavansky, Dubai Dynamo and Lowther.
Out of the above mentioned participants, Eton Forever is likely to perform well in the race. The bookmakers have awarded him with pretty decent odds, despite the fact that he has been unable to maintain a good strike rate.
The five-year-old gelding has participated in eight events until now, winning just a couple of them. Other than that, he has secured the runner up position the same number of times, which suggests that he is quite capable of fighting for victories.
Roger Varian’s trainee has been doing well in recent times though, thus the punters will be placing quite a few bets in his favour. The most important thing was that the event was held at Doncaster, which means that Eton Forever will be aware of the
conditions at the venue.
Today’s favourite horse’s most recent outing proved to be a good one, as he finished runner up in it. He was the favourite to win that event and lived up to the expectations of everyone in the end, winning the race by more than one length.
Eton Forever will be partnered by Neil Callan, who has got a decent record at this level and will be looking forward to a decent show yet again.
Fury, trained by William Haggas, might spoil the party for the race favourite, as he is also a decent runner and has done well in the past. He has entered seven races in his career until now, winning a couple of them.
The second favourite runner will be ridden by Adam Beschizza, who has done a decent job over the past few events.
There are lesser chances for the rest of the participants to fight for victory at Doncaster today, but nothing can be accurately predicted in racing.
