Etrade How Do I Deposit Money?

How do i deposite money into my etrade account do i need to mail somthing or can i do it online plz help. my Net Account Value is 0.00 i want to put money into it.

I believe you have 3 options.  Mail a check, link your bank account to them and due an electronic transfer, due a wire transfer.

The cheapest way is to simply send them a check.  If you do, make sure your account number is on the check.

If there is no major rush to get the money into the account, this would be the easiest, cheapest and the most efficient.

You can have your bank wire the funds to your account, you will need wire instructions from E-Trade,  The bank will charge you for this wire.

Going forward you could have E-Trade code your account with either EFT or ACH money movements which permits the firm to send money to your bank account or have the fund take money from your account when needed.
