Euonymus shrub covered with flies?

We have 2 large euonymus shrubs that surround our patio - but they constantly have swarms of flies in them. Is there any way to get rid of them?

  1. this is natural for this type of plant......and the birsd love it..........they will leave on their own soon..........do not try to kill them....they ate gathering pollen


  2. I don;t think you mean aphids ( green and white fly etc) flies are naturally drawn to this plant. If you feel uncomfortabe, change the plants.

  3. You can try the natural cheap way too of fairy washing up liquid dilute in water in a squirting bottle.

    I use this on all my plants and veg

    or use a bug spray.
