Eureka Model 4351 vacuum - motor runs but no...

Question

The motor works but I don't feel any suction when I put my hand under the revolving brush.  Also if I let it stay on vary long it gets hot quickly and starts to have a burning smell.  I have checked the long hose and it is not clogged.  I have also unscrewed the plate holding the short hose at the lower rear of the unit and checked it for clogs.  It is also clear.I am a renter and the directions for the unit are not here.  Can I download a manual for it including troubleshooting informatin
