How do you feel about Nathans death?

I cried, I had not been spoiled and had no idea

what was coming... I mean its Stark.

He is dead, not coming back as Ed Quinn has left the show.

  1. That makes me so sad!  I was so sure they would find some way of bringing him back on the show; I mean they are a town full of geniuses; you'd think they would be able to come up with something.

The chemistry between he and Carter was so funny!  In the last episode, the "Magma-Lava" lines were great, and they really did work well as a team.

I felt really bad too because in this last episode, he and Carter were being really nice to each other, which was kind of cool.  The fact that he sacrificed himself was really neat too, but I was really hoping Fargo would go instead.  Carter and Allison are a cute couple, but Nathan and she had a history, one that even Carter was willing to accept.

I think his death was also hard to accept because in the end he called Carter "Jack" (which he never did before), and he gave Alison to Carter.

I was on the verge of tears too, especially at the point when I realized that he was frozen with that "everything's going to be okay" smile on his face and tears in his eyes.  When he was deleted from time, oh yeah, it was bad.

I am a huge Eureka fan, primarily for the comedy of the show, so, like you, I had no clue something like this was coming.

Nathan Stark (Ed Quinn) you will be missed!

  2. I didn't have any spoilers about it also, when he dissapeared I thought for sure they will bring him back before the episode was over. and then when he didn't I thought well in the next episode he will come back maybe he is in an alternate dimesion or something. it wasn't until you just said that Ed quinn has left the show. that I realize he is really dead and not comming back. that was a sad way to end it. he knew he was going to die why didn't he want to see his fiancee? and she kept saying "everything will work out the way its supposed to." now I guess its obvious that the sheriff and that widow bride will hook up now that nathan is gone. thats sad, I wonder if they will replace him with another actor in the future and say the whole time dimension thing caused him to look and sound different.

  3. I was kind of surprised, I knew someone was going to die, but I didn't think it would be Nathan..... But I will admit I kind of wanted Stark, not dead, but out of the picture because I wanted to see how a relationship between Allison and Carter would blossom.

I never thought for a second they would really kill off Stark, I mean it's like you said, it's freggin STARK! I was a little sad and shocked. I was even more shocked that Fargo had even volunteered.

I loved the back and forth between him and Carter, it was awesome. I almost cried, not quite, but almost. I will miss his character, because even though he was full of himself that's what I liked about him.

This is going to change the whole mood of the show..... At least for a while.
