Eureka (scifi tv show) fans?

couple questions:

what's up w/ this mary perkins thing?

do u think nathan stark is gone 4 good?

do u think there will be future romance between jack and allison?

do u think that thorne is evil?

what's up w/ this whole 8 episodes now then more in the new year?

do u think that lexi carter will take the place of nathan starke as a lead? i mean, not as in take his job and stuff but as in add another main character when they take one off?

what would u classify this as (comedy, drama...etc.)

do u like this show?

1) who the h**l knows.  

2) It's Eureka, so never say never, but they don't have any plans right now to bring back Ed Quinn, who left the show.

3) Again, who knows, but it probably won't happen until at least the back part of the season.

4) Don't know, but can't wait to find out.  She's only around for the 8 episode block, so her story will be revealed soon enough.

5) The season got extended because of the Writer's Strike.  The reason that they're only doing 8 episodes now is because that's all they could get done in time because of the compressed schedule that the strike forced them into.

6) I don't know where Lexi fits in yet, but it's definitely a fun relationship that her and Jack bring to the table.  She does kind of replace Stark as far as the whole antagonistic respect dynamic goes, but I think that when the second 13 episodes come around, another new character will come in.

7) I would put the show as a Dramedy.  It can't really be fit into either mode, but if I had to pick between Comedy and Drama, I'd say it leans more towards Comedy.

8) As if the answers to the first 7 questions didn't answer this one, yes I do like the show.
