match against the Three Lions.
In their last four fixtures against the English, Ukraine have secured victory in just one. It is for this reason that they will not be expected to secure a decent result in the fixture tonight even though they will be playing the match in front of home fans.

Ukraine’s opening win against Sweden was overshadowed by their defeat to the French in the second fixture, leaving them with just three points from two games. If they are to make it to the knockout stages, they are to defeat England tonight.
The burden will solely be on Andriy Shevchenko, who scored twice to guarantee a win against Sweden in the opening fixture. Even though he was expected to be ruled out of the fixture with a knee problem, he seems to have recovered and will most likely be
starting today.
