Euro 2012 qualifiers – Frank Lampard out, England in problems again

England’s manager and team could be missing some crucial key players for their qualifier games against teams like, Bulgaria and Switzerland. This was after Frank Lampard was ruled out to participate in the match due to a Hernia problem and several other key players were left injured after Saturday's run in of matches.
The talismanic Chelsea midfielder, Lampard was substituted in the team's two nil win by manager, Carlo Ancelotti. The manager said that the player was feeling strong discomforts due to his hernia and would need to be operated on. The team’s captain, John Terry also managed to get his leg injured during the game.
According to Ancelotti, "He will need surgery this week, Tuesday or Wednesday. He will not be able to play for England. We have told England," Ancelotti said about Lampard's situation.
"In one or two weeks he will be back. It's very easy surgery. He needs to do it because he was starting to feel pain."
Tottenham Hotspur's forward, Peter Crouch suffered an injury to his rib, in the team’s match against Wigan Athletic. Whereas Jermain Defoe still needs to go in for his groin surgery. Bobby Zamora who only recently made his debut, has been left doubtful for the game, after Fulham manager, Mark Hughes said that the player suffered a thigh injury in the game against Blackpool.
The player picked up a blow to his thigh midway through the first half and was seen to be feeling the discomfort in his leg from then on.
According to Hughes, "I would suggest Zamora is a real doubt at the moment," Hughes told the BBC. "It stiffened up at halftime and he thought it might loosen up but that was not the case and it may be more serious. Hopefully he will not be out for a long time."
However players like Arsenal's, Theo Walcott and Newcastle's, Andy Carroll could both be getting a call up to the national side after being highly impressive so far this season.
England are scheduled to face Bulgaria in the Wembley on Friday after traveling to Switzerland to play their second game on Tuesday.
