Euro - Afro Asia Sweepstakes Lottery Inc. is saying that i have won a lottery is it true?

I won the draw of 2008 Euro-Afro Asia Sweepstakes Lottery International Program held on the 24th of March 2008 in War Wall London

I received a mail to this purports from MRS Olivia smith and Mr. Mohammed ahmed introduce to me as Asian Fiduciary Agent contact whit him and gave my information to him.

HE SAID TO MEI HAVE TO PAY $720 (SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARS)

FOR CONSULTATION, PROCESSING OF my WON CHEQUE, AND EXTRA US$65 (SIXTY

FIVE DOLLARS) FOR INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY CHARGE.

This is a scam.  Do not send any money.

this is quite obviously a scam...you can just delete it and forget about it...but if you're feeling responsible, you can report this spam to certain authorities to get the criminals to task..you can just submit it to your gmail or other web-provider's spam filters...

and whatever u do, never, ever reply to such a mail. they send out the same  mail to millions of addresses, and if you reply, they know your email address is a valid one, and will just send more spam your way...

and learn not to be so gullible..always ignore messages from strangers, especially when they promise you some money or other incentive but need you to pay something first, or when they want you to log in to you bank or some other site...
