Euro RSCG to execute the advertising services to the Nimbus Sports’ World Series Hockey
After an extremely tough competition with similar competitors, Euro RSCG has successfully snatched the advertising rights of the Nimbus Sports’ World Series Hockey (WSH), going to be played from December 17 to the 22 of next month, January.
Euro RSCG will comply with their duties of the advertisement of the WSH in their office at Mumbai, considering it on a project basis.
“Sports is an extremely dynamic, fast-paced category to work on, especially from an agency’s perspective. This prestigious project also gives us a chance to bring India’s national sport in the limelight it deserves. We look forward to doing some great work
for the series,” Shavon Barua, President, West and South, Euro RSCG India, shared his views after their success at gaining the advertising rights.
“We were impressed with the work Euro RSCG presented to us, right from the first round of presentations. We found them on the same plane as far as understanding our brand and the vision for WSH. We look forward to a mutually beneficial association with them
for the entire duration of the series,” Yannick Colaco, COO of the Nimbus Sport, stated his comments about the professional attitude of the Euro RSCG.
The tournament will comprise eight teams where almost two hundred of the best hockey players from across the entire globe will be seen in action.
Also appearing in the tournament will be the former and the current Indian players.
Some of the hockey players of Pakistan, especially the veteran striker, Rehan Butt, also made an agreement to play in the tournament.
While previously being excluded from the Champions Trophy hockey tournament in New Zealand, the striker was once again overlooked by the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) for the upcoming Australian tour.
The participating teams have already been confirmed for the tournament. They include Punjab, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Chandigarh, Pune, Bhopal, Ranchi, Hyderabad and Rourkela.
There will be a total of 61 matches scheduled to be played between the sides including the final.
As the excitement builds up for the Nimbus Sports’ World Series Hockey, Euro RSCG will have a crucial role to play in promoting and covering the event in an effective manner.
