  1. Elisa

she fits under Italian contemporary/classical i suppose. I LOVE her. If you YouTube "Lacey Kameron Contemporary"... there is a clip of a "So You Think You Can Dance" performance done to the song "Dancing" by Elisa. (just so you can get a snippet of what it sounds like). The song in its entirety actually sounds a bit different, but its really good and not even her best song.

she sings in both English and Italian

favorite English songs she sings: "Swan", "Broken", and "Electricity."

favorite Italian songs she sings: "Una Poesia Anche Per Te" "Almeno Tu Nell'Universo" and "Luce (Tramonti A Nord Est)."

I don't know what classical British music sounds like, but here are a few great European artists.

Damien Rice (from Ireland, sings in English, try "9Crimes", "Cannonball", or "Blower's Daughter")

    Adele

    Corinne Bailey Rae

    Lily Allen

    The Beautiful South
